01Vehicle Flooring & Special Plywood

Vehicle floor plywood works under heavy loads, forklift traffic, moisture and constant vibration. It is therefore made from high-density plywood bonded with WBP phenolic glue and finished with an anti-slip embossed face. It is also known as truck floor plywood, trailer flooring, anti-slip plywood or mesh plywood.

Wiremesh plywood has 220 g/m² phenolic film with a wire mesh pattern on the face and 125 g/m² smooth film on the back, and is the standard choice for truck and trailer floors. Hexa plywood has a 220 g/m² hexagonal embossed film face for extra grip and is also used in cold stores, on ramps and platforms. Insulated plywood contains a special damping layer between the plies that reduces noise and vibration — developed for buses, caravans and special vehicles.

Besides the standard 2500 × 1250 mm size, we produce custom panels up to 11500 × 2700 mm, reducing joints on long trailer floors, in thicknesses from 6 mm to 50 mm.

01What is wiremesh plywood?

Wiremesh plywood is anti-slip plywood with a wire mesh pattern embossed into its phenolic film — 220 g/m² on the face and 125 g/m² on the back. It is used for truck and trailer floors, truck bodies, ramps and platforms.

02What is the difference between hexa and wiremesh plywood?

Both have anti-slip surfaces; the difference is the pattern. Wiremesh has a wire mesh pattern and is the most common choice for vehicle floors. Hexa has a hexagonal pattern with 220 g/m² face film and is also popular in cold stores, loading ramps and high-traffic flooring.

03What thickness of plywood is used for trailer floors?

Trailer and truck floors typically use 18–30 mm plywood; thicker panels are preferred for heavy loads and forklift traffic. We produce wiremesh plywood from 6 to 50 mm — contact us with your vehicle type and load for a recommendation.

04What is insulated plywood used for?

Insulated plywood contains a special layer between its plies that reduces road noise and vibration entering the vehicle. It is designed for bus, minibus, caravan and rail vehicle floors, and any floor requiring acoustic insulation.

05Can you produce long custom-size panels?

Yes. Besides 2500 × 1250 mm, we produce custom panels up to 11500 × 2700 mm. Long panels reduce joints in trailer floors. Please state the size, thickness and quantity in the quote form.
