The camera surveillance activities conducted by our Company are carried out in accordance with the Law on Private Security Services and relevant applicable regulations.
In carrying out camera surveillance for security purposes, our Company complies with the regulations set forth in the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”).
The Company performs video surveillance in its buildings and facilities in accordance with legal obligations and the data processing conditions specified in the KVKK, and for the legitimate purpose of ensuring security.
In accordance with Article 10 of the KVKK, data subjects are informed about the surveillance activities.
This notification aims to ensure transparency, protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of data subjects, and guarantee that they are duly informed.
To this end, this Policy is published on our Company’s website (online notification), and signage is posted at the entrances of monitored areas (on-site notification).
In compliance with Article 4 of the KVKK, our Company processes personal data in a manner that is lawful, relevant, limited, and proportionate to the intended purposes.
The purpose of video surveillance is strictly limited to those listed in this Policy. The placement, number, and timing of surveillance cameras are determined to be adequate for and restricted to achieving security objectives. Areas where monitoring would infringe on individuals’ privacy beyond the purpose of security (e.g., restrooms) are excluded from surveillance.
Pursuant to Article 12 of the KVKK, appropriate technical and administrative measures are implemented, where applicable, to ensure the security of the personal data collected through camera surveillance.
Access to digital recordings is restricted to a limited number of Company employees. Live camera feeds may only be monitored by designated staff members responsible for security and administrative affairs.
Individuals who have access to the recordings are required to sign a confidentiality agreement affirming their obligation to protect the confidentiality of the personal data they access.
